How to Use the Tool

Follow the instructions below to make the most out of the AI assistant.

1. Download the Chrome Extension.
2. Navigate to your tab with the Canvas assignment.
3. Open your extension.
4. Sign in to your UCSC Google account.
5. Your AI assistant will load the experiment your TA has set up for assignments.

Student Tips

• If referencing a file, tell the assistant that you are searching for a file in 'uploaded documents'.
• Avoid general instructions as the assistants will give the most general responses.
• Be careful to understand the logic of the assistants, especially in longer conversations.
• When reviewing topics, ask the assistants to compare information found in uploaded documents and outside sources.
